As Hendricks County continues to grow and evolve, so do the new opportunities and challenges before us. Through it all, one thing remains constant: when our community comes together, we can accomplish more than any one of us could alone.

Stronger Together has already demonstrated what is possible. Through the generosity of donors, the Stronger Together Campaign in 2023-2025 raised $1.5 million—enabling a $3 million Lilly Endowment match for a total impact of $4.5 million. These permanent resources ensure our community thrives now and for generations to come.

Building on that success, we now have the opportunity to continue this work. Through Lilly Endowment’s GIFT IX initiative, HCCF has the opportunity to raise another $1.5 million in new unrestricted commitments. All gifts will be matched 2-to-1, unlocking $3 million in matching funds and generating a total of $4.5 million in community impact.

This is not a new campaign. It is the next chapter of Stronger Together.

Unrestricted endowment funds are among the most powerful tools we can steward as a community foundation. They provide the flexibility to respond to the most pressing needs of our community—today and in the future—while also investing in opportunities as they emerge.

Stronger Together brings these resources together into one unified effort to serve Hendricks County. Through Stronger Together, HCCF’s unrestricted funds—including the Deedee Daniel Opportunity Fund and our Family Legacy Funds—work collectively to support effective local organizations, strengthen communities, and provide leadership as needs evolve.

Family Legacy Funds, in particular, represent a lasting commitment to Hendricks County. These permanent funds allow families and organizations to create something enduring—supporting the community year after year, generation after generation.
