HCCF Grantmaking

HCCF manages over 250 different funds, each with a different purpose. These funds provided over $2.35M in grants in 2025 to support nonprofits and projects across Hendricks County and beyond.

Generally, nonprofits apply to HCCF’s unrestricted funds, which provide about 13% (approximately $280,000) of HCCF’s annual grantmaking each year.
We anticipate three primary grant programs in 2026:

  1. Community Impact Grants (January 12 – February 12)
  2. Community Unity Grants Program (February 1 – November 1)
  3. Open Application Grants (February 1 – September 15)

NOTE: Due to an ongoing partnership with the Parks Foundation of Hendricks County, HCCF no longer accepts applications from parks, trails and outdoor spaces. Potential grantees in this sector should contact the Parks Foundation of Hendricks County.
