Nonprofit Learning Series: Storytelling for Impact–A Leadership Workshop Two-Part Series
NOTE: At the end of the October training, each participating organization will be assigned one of three 90-minute follow-up sessions on November 17, 2026.
In a world where nonprofit missions compete for attention, funding, and trust, your story is your greatest asset.
Storytelling for Impact is a dynamic two-part leadership workshop designed to help organizations reconnect with their origin, clarify their mission, and communicate with greater authenticity and alignment. This interactive experience combines strategic messaging, team building, and sector-specific application to help leaders harness the power of storytelling for internal clarity and external engagement.
Whether you’re focused on fundraising, advocacy, team culture, or community partnerships—this training equips you to lead with voice, vision, and value.
We encourage up to 3 people from each organization to attend this training: ED or CEO, Board Chair, and the lead organizational storyteller.
Session 1 (October 27 8:30am – 12:00pm) – Story as Strategy and Team Culture*
This large-group session invites nonprofit leaders across sectors to:
– Explore the power of their organization’s origin story
– Reconnect with their mission and values
– Identify key audiences and tailor messages accordingly
– Leverage story for internal alignment and external communication
– Strengthen team connection through meaningful story-based activities
Bonus Impact: This session also functions as a high-quality team-building experience, giving staff and leaders a shared language and renewed sense of purpose.
