Family Nature Night: Turtles with Hendricks County Parks

Turtle, terrapin, or tortoise? A Hendricks County Parks naturalist will present a special program about the shelled reptiles of Indiana! Registration is required.

We call all of Indiana’s chelonians (or shelled reptiles) “turtles,” but they don’t all live in water. Some can’t even swim! A Hendricks County Parks naturalist will bring a turtle shell so you can see how this is part of the turtle skeleton.
