DESCRIPTION:Join Avon Christian Church for a panel discussion on science and faith. Coffee\, refreshments\, and childcare will be provided. To submit questions for the panelists in advance\, please email eclipse@avonchristian.org.\nPanelists:\n– Rev. Dr. Marti Steussy is a retired professor of Biblical Interpretation from Christian Theological Seminary. Best known for her biblical storytelling scholarship & performances\, she also taught courses on religion & science. She is the author of several books including two science fiction novels. \n– Dr. Avery Archer is a tenured Professor at DePauw University. Dr. Archer received his PhD in Physics with an emphasis on Astrophysics. He was a recipient of the McDonnell Astronaut Fellowship. \n– Rev. Danielle Cox has served as the Senior Minister of Avon Christian Church since 2019. Rev. Cox earned her Masters of Divinity from the University of Chicago and is ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
